Rabongla is located at a transit point of Sikkim, so

TREKKING ROUTES |
Maenam Hill: Trekking to Maenam hill, through Maenam Wild Life Sanctuary, shall be a life time experience. The hill top Bhalley-dhunga at an altitude of about 10,300 ft. A full moon-lit night and sunrise makes Mt.Kanchendzongha and its range more magnificent from here. |
TENDONG HILL: This is another trekking point, altitude of about 8530ft. This forest is more dense and surrounded by lush green ancient trees, the rout is adventurous too. |
Borong Hot Spring: Around 25 Kms from Rabongla, by car and a little trek to reach the hot spring& this is seasonal. |
Reshi Hot Spring: Around 30 Kms from Rabongla, by car and a little trek to reach the hot spring& this is seasonal. |
Shar Chok Bephu Cave: This is one of the four holiest cave in Sikkim. |
FESTIVALS OF RABONGLA (Ravangla) |
Pang
lhab sol: Traditional festival
of local People, held in August-September every year. Various cultural
programme, games, traditional dances etc. are the main attraction. |
Pokhri
Festival (Tourism Festival): Held in the month of March-April every year. This is also full of local
cultural programmes. |

Temi
Tea Garden: The one & only
tea garden of Sikkim, owned by the Govt. of Sikkim, located at 15kms.
From Rabongla. |
Samdruptse: 136ft. statue of Buddhist
saint Guru Padmasamvava, located about 20kms from Rabongla. The statue
is located on the hill top, so it is visible from all the places of
Namchi as well as from Tiger hill (Darjeeling) and from Kalimpong which
is just on the opposite of this hill.

Bio-diversity
Park: This Park is
made by the department of forest at the base of Tendong hill and in
the Tendong wildlife sanctuary. A wide variety of Orchids, Medicinal
plants and other rare plants are maintained. This place is very attractive
for persons related to Botanical sciences. |
Handicraft
Centre: A wide variety
of handicraft items, made by local people are displayed for sale as
well as for show. |
Ralong
Monastery: This one of the
oldest and biggest monastery of Sikkim, located 20kms from Rabongla. |
Bon
Monastery (Mangbru Sangacholing Monastery): This is one of the four Bon monasteries of India and the
only one of the Sikkim. It has a historical importance, located 6kms
from the hotel. |
Rangit
Dam: A dam & hydroelectric
power plant of N.H.P.C. on the river Rangit, located about 24kms from
Rabongla. |
Kirateswar
Temple: Temple of Lord
Siva at the base of Rangit river, 26kms from Rabongla. This temple
is accessible through a hanging bridge on Rangit river, which very
beautiful. This temple has Hindu mythological importance (of Mahabharata).
